TERNURA

Cuando conseguí esta fotografía, a través de ella, pude comprobar la grandísima ternura y amor que Pierce siente por su madre.  Se había quedado viuda, creo que en 2008, del hombre que había hecho las veces de padre para aquel niño que tuvo que dejar en Irlanda para buscarse la vida en Londres. Desde que pudieron reunirse de nuevo, nunca le ha faltado el amor que su hijo siente por ella.  Sin duda, ha comprendido el enorme sacrificio que tuvo que hacer al dejar a su pequeño al cuidado de unos abuelos, que también fallecieron, y otros familiares hasta que ella pudo organizar su vida en la capital británica.
Al ver a Pierce, con los ojos entornados, se me viene a la cabeza el diálogo silencioso que se estableció entre los dos:
- Tranquila mamá, yo te cuidaré
- Ya lo sé cariño, siempre lo haces. . .  Te quiero hijo
Conexión entre una madre y su hijo, que nunca se ha olvidado de ella.
